Hello! We are Endurance Zone and we are responsible for the Fitness Day Rewards app.

We have set out below the way in which the app will collect your information and the way in which we will use the information that it collects. This is the case any time that you use the app.

We will collect some information about you using the app. We call that information your information. We are responsible for deciding how and why your information is used. We are also responsible for looking after your information as the law says we should.

We take protecting your information and privacy very seriously. Our collection, storage, use and sharing of your information is governed by strong UK laws, including under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (the UK GDPR). Under the UK GDPR, we are the controller of your information obtained via the app. This means that we are the organisation legally responsible under the UK GDPR for deciding how and for what purposes your information is used.

This privacy information is written for people aged 13–17 who use the app on.

If you are aged under six you must not use the app as it is not designed for you. We do not intend to collect the information of anyone under six. If you are aware that any information of anyone under six has been shared with the app, please let us know so that we can delete that data.

The information aimed at older people gives increasing levels of detail, and information for younger children gives less detail. If you want more information, you can always look at one of the links designed for older people.

You should speak to your parent or an adult you trust if you cannot understand anything, or if you are worried.

The app is only available on UK app stores and should only be used by people in the UK.

What this privacy information applies to

This privacy information only covers your use of the app. It does not cover your use of any other apps, websites or services.

Any third party websites, apps or services we link to may also collect and use information about you in accordance with their own separate rules. Please read the notices and information on their apps or websites to find out more about how and why they do this.

Information we collect about you

The information we collect about you depends on how you use the app.

We collect and use this information about you:

• your name

• your email address

• your date of birth

• your gender , if you choose to give this information to us

• your account details, such as username and password

• your location when using the app

• details we can see from how you use the app, such as things we can tell you like or dislike and when and how you use the app

• what exercises or activity you are doing, if you choose to give this information to us

• facts about the device that you use the app

The information that we collect about you depends on how you use the app and it might be the case that we only collect some of the information above or we might collect it all, depending on what you do with the app.

We do not collect any pictures or videos taken using the camera and we do not collect any information about medical conditions or your health.

Unless we tell you that you have a choice, we need to collect and use this information for you to use the app and its services.

However, sometimes we are able to give you the choice of whether you want to give us your information and let us use it. Where that is the case we will tell you and let you say no before you give the information to us. We will also tell you whether saying no will have any effect on your use of the app or our services.

Location services/data

The app will request your consent to use location services to precisely identify your location each session (ie each time the app is opened). We may need access to that location data in order to provide certain feature in the app.

If you do not consent to the app identifying your location, you may use the app but certain features may not be available.

If you change your mind and want to stop allowing the app to work out where you are, you can do so at any time by blocking location tracking in your settings (but note that telling us that you have changed your mind and withdrawing your consent in this way will not affect the lawfulness of our use of the information that we collected before your consent was withdrawn).

We will not use your location other than as strictly required to enable certain features on the app.

The location services in the app will not operate unless location services/data are generally enabled on your device. You may disable such functionality at any time by altering your device settings.

For children under 13 years of age consents must be provided by their parent or guardian instead.

How your information is collected

We collect information:

• from you when connect your activity tracker (like a Fitbit or Apple Watch) to our app;

• by collecting details of the things that you do on the app, and

• by collecting information from the device that you use the app on.

How and why we use your information

We can only use your information if we have a valid reason to do so. The valid reasons we rely on are:

• where you have agreed that we can, your consent

• to comply with the law

• to make or carry out an agreement with you

• if we have a good reason to use your information, and this is not overridden by your own rights and interests (this is also known as our ‘legitimate interests’). Protecting your information

We know you don’t want your information to be seen or used by people who do not need it, or in ways which you might not expect or which might hurt you in some way.

We will work hard to protect your information to stop those things happening. We will also use strong security to protect your information.

You should not share your password or account details with anyone other than your parents or guardian. If you do, other people may be able to get all the information you have entered using the app.

The app will warn you if you are doing or changing things that may pose greater risks to you. You should speak to a parent or guardian when the app tells you to.

We also do not transfer your information outside of the United Kingdom (UK). If we do need to transfer your information outside of the UK, we will make sure that the country your information is being transferred to gives enough protection for your information.

Who else sees your information

The app is available in the Apple ITunes and App stores & Google Play store for people to get. Some of your information that is collected by the app is shared with Apple and Google. We work with some other companies that help us to make sure that the app works as it is supposed to and to run our business. We will often share your information with those other companies but we will only do this when we really need to. We will make sure that those other companies keep your information safe.

How long we keep your information

Different bits of your information will be kept for different periods of time. Ask your parent or guardian to contact us if you want to know more about what information we hold and for how long.

When we do not need your information anymore, we will safely delete it or change it so it can no longer be linked to you.

Particular risks and how we address them

We will give extra protection to some of your information:

• your name, your email address and your date of birth (the day that you were born): we are very careful with this information because we want to stop people using it to pretend to be you. They might also use this information to try to contact you when you don’t want them to

• information about where you are: if other people knew this information they might use it to find out where you are or where you have been. This could allow people to spy on what you have been up to, or even try to visit you

We, and the other companies we work with, will protect these types of information by using extra passwords and only letting a small number of our very trust worthy people see that information.

Your rights over your information

You usually have the right over your information to ask us:

• for a copy of your information

• to correct any mistakes or things that we have got wrong about you in your information

• to delete your information

• to stop using your information entirely or in some ways, for example if you think the information we have is wrong or if we aren’t treating your information as the law tells us to

• to send you a copy of your information in a way that makes it easy for you to use again or send to someone else or to ask us to send a copy of your information to someone else (maybe another company or a different app)
